We upgraded the Paxos Standard (PAX) stablecoin smart contract on February 3, 2020. We implemented the following updates at that time:
- Customers now have the ability to pay gas fees for another person’s on-chain transfers. That means you can pay gas fees in PAX instead of ethereum.
- We’ve changed some naming conventions to keep consistency with BUSD and PAX Gold.
- We’ve added the ability to recover PAX tokens sent to the contract address.
