Paxos is unable to tokenize gold that a customer may already own; Paxos only tokenizes London Good Delivery gold bars that it sources directly from an LBMA-member firm. This allows Paxos to maintain the highest confidence level in the gold representation of our token.

If a customer holds unallocated gold, that customer is able to convert that balance into tokenized PAX Gold (PAXG).
