From April 6-9, Paxos representatives were in Miami attending the Bitcoin 2022 conference. We were on the ground talking to current, new and potential customers about the blockchain solutions we’ve built to tokenize, custody, trade and settle assets.
We were also thrilled to take the opportunity to highlight one such client partnership: Mercado Libre. Mercado Libre is the leading digital marketplace and financial services provider of Latin America. Their apps power millions of customers across Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and more. Paxos CEO Charles Cascarilla sat down with with Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Mercado Libre Daniel Rabinovich to discuss the firm’s explosive debut into crypto.
In only two months, more than a million users of Mercado Pago were actively using the app to get crypto, an astonishing pace of growth.
