What is needed to open an account?

Our account verification process differs slightly by region.

US Customers

US Customers are required to enter the following personal information: legal name, birthdate, social security number, and address.

You may be requested to submit additional identification documents to us to proceed with the account verification process. This process could take approximately 1 to 3 business days to be completed.

Institutional investors are also required to submit proof of beneficial owners’ identification and residence as well as requisite corporate documents for account verification purposes upon signing up. To learn more about this process, please visit the Paxos Help Center.

Non-US Customers

Customers based outside of the US are required to enter the following personal information: legal name, birthdate, document ID number, and address.This process could take approximately 1 to 3 business days to be completed.
